Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Veni Spaces, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. The platform

Veni Spaces is a marketplace that connects hosts (venue owners, landlords, BnB hosts) with guests and tenants. We are not a party to any booking or tenancy agreement — we provide the technology infrastructure, escrow service, and trust system.

3. Accounts

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must provide accurate information during registration and KYC verification
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Bookings and payments

  • All payments are processed through escrow. Funds are released to the host after booking confirmation
  • Platform fees are charged at the rates disclosed at the time of booking
  • Cancellations are subject to the host's cancellation policy as displayed on the listing
  • Disputes are handled by our Trust & Safety team. Escrow funds may be frozen pending dispute resolution

5. Host responsibilities

  • Listings must accurately represent the space or property
  • Hosts are responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and licences
  • Hosts must honour confirmed bookings
  • Hosts must not request off-platform payments

6. Guest responsibilities

  • Guests must use spaces only for their stated purpose
  • Guests are liable for damage caused during a booking
  • Guests must not share OTP codes or account access

7. Prohibited conduct

  • Fraudulent listings or bookings
  • Circumventing the escrow system
  • Harassment of hosts, guests, or platform staff
  • Using the platform for illegal activities

8. Limitation of liability

Veni Spaces is not liable for the condition of listings, conduct of hosts or guests, or losses arising from bookings. Our liability is limited to the platform fees collected for the relevant transaction.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
